About Us

After studying Remedial Massage for 3 years with the London And Counties Society Of Physiologists Val qualified as a Physical Therapist in 1986. Personal Training and Gym Instructing then followed for Val, studying with a well-respected college called Focus. This gave the expertise to advise in exercise and nutrition, as an additional help for patients after treatments to help prevent further recurring problems. Val then went on to study several other therapies including Reiki healing, becoming a Reiki Master in 1998. She then began teaching Reiki Healing at several colleges and clinics in the South of England. In 2001 she studied Indian Head Massage with the Institute of Indian Head Massage, which she also teaches for the Institute in the South of England.

She has now diversified into the canine world, the true love of her life, and now includes Canine Massage which she learnt at the Galen Therapy Centre and Canine psychology, which she studied at the canine Behavioural Centre in Cumbria, which lead to becoming a Canine Behaviourist. She now practices as a mobile canine therapist, using or your own home or her home clinic. She is also now available on a Monday afternoon and evening at The Canine Studies College, in Polegate, East Sussex. (see www.caninereferrals.co.uk

Val and her husband Brian live with their two canine companions, a Chocolate Labrador called Cadbury and a Golden Retreiver, Savannah. They are frequent visitors to local nursing homes for the voluntary association called Canine Concern, to help give the residents emotional support by allowing them to stroke and pet (and too often feed) dogs. They are also patient and mostly helpful models for demonstrating massage and healing to other dog lovers.
